Additional Workshop Information

Workshop fee

There will be only a small fee of 20,- DM (10,- DM for students). The fee is payable at the workshop site.

Lunches

There will be the possibility of having lunch at the mensa.

Program

The program will be available via WWW as well as at the registration and reception desk, which opens on Thursday, August 22 at 8 a.m. The workshop starts at 9 a.m.

Workshop site

The workshop will be held at the campus of the university (see this map or this sensitive map ) at building E, Room E51.

Travelling

Airports: The next airport is in Luxembourg. There is an Airport Liner connecting Trier to the airport. Transfer to/from Trier can be booked at the Stadtwerke Trier, telephone +49 651 71 72 73. The Airport Liner takes about 40 min to reach the town resp. Costs are 20 DM per person and trip,

Trains: there are good train connections to Trier from all over Europe. The main station of Trier lies in the center of the city. A taxi to the University costs about 15,- DM.

Buses: there are four bus lines leading to the university. The following table gives an overview. The directions are valid from the main station. The times depend on day and hour.

A single ticket costs 2.50 DM, five tickets cost 10 DM. They are valid in the whole city (including necessary changes of busses).
